MEET OUR STAFF
Susan Kiskis, CHT is the owner of Barefoot Yoga and Wellness Studio and Providence Boutique, an organic clothing and natural gifts store in Mechanicsburg. Continuing the path of eco-friendly efforts, Susan is the founder and organizer of the Mechanicsburg Earth Day Festival and is a green coach, helping individuals and businesses incorporate and understand environmental causes and raise awareness of climate change. With over ten years of experience as a marketing professional, fundraiser, freelance journalist, and event planner, Susan enjoys helping businesses and individuals make their life more eco-friendly.
Aside from her environmental pursuits, Susan is is a certified Hypnotherapist, NLP Practioner, and certified in Self-Mastery. She is also currently training to be a Hatha Yoga Instructor. Susan enjoys helping people live a healthy and natural lifestyle.
Alizabeth Itter, C.M.T. is a graduate of the Massage Therapy Practioner Program at YTI. She enjoys Reflexology and helping clients feel better through massage.
Michael Hauck, L.Ac., Dipl.Ac. is a Nationally Board Certified (NCCAOM) Acupuncturist and is also licensed both by the Pennsylvania Board of Medicine and the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Board of Medicine. He is a graduate of Maryland Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine and has been practicing for 6 years. He is committed to working with clients to reach their health related goals and to expand the access to Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in the greater Mechanicsburg area.
Amy Joy Woodward is a certified ThetaHealing™ Practitioner and Instructor. She attained her Basic DNA Practitioner certification in January 2005 and began incorporating the techniques into her daily life. In 2009 she received her Advanced DNA Practitioner certification. Amy’s desire to share this technique prompted her to attend the ThetaHealing™ Institute of Knowledge - THInK in Idaho Falls, ID in 2009. While there, she was awarded her Manifesting and Abundance Practitioner certification and the Instructors certifications for: Basic DNA, Advanced DNA and Manifesting and Abundance under the instruction of Vianna Stibal the founder of ThetaHealing™. Amy is pursuing certification as a ThetaHealing™ Master.
Kathleen R. Baker is the founder of Manaola (which means Hawaiian Spiritual Power of Life). She holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Masters in Systems Engineering, Level III Master of Himalayan Singing Bowls Certification and is a Reiki and Shamballa MDH Practitioner. She works full-time as a Senior Program Manager for the Federal Government but has a strong commitment to providing this unique style of energy work. Kathleen was raised in the Hawaiian culture and has travelled throughout Europe and northern Africa. She founded Manaola to merge the Hawaiian cultural healing with the beautiful harmonics of the Himalayan Singing Bowls.
Karla Browne, has practiced Tai Chi and Qigong daily since 1994 and taught since 2005. Besides a 109-posture Yang Tai Chi Chuan form, she teaches an 18-posture Chi Kung set, a standing form, warm-up exercises and the breathing, alignment and posture that ensure maximum results from the forms.
Mitzi Trostle leads Buddhist and Mindfulness Meditation sessions at Gettysburg College, the Buddhist Insight Meditation Group at Gettysburg’s Unitarian Universalist Church and at her place of fulltime employment for the past 26-years, Central PA’s Public Media Center, WITF. Mitzi is an ordained Buddhist Priest at the Shuso level (currently in her third year of seminary studies, working toward full Osho ordination) and is a sangha member of Harrisburg’s Blue Mountain Lotus Society (www.bmls.org). Her Sensei is Anthony Stultz. Mitzi also studies Anapana and Vipassana Meditation with Carlisle’s David Ison, a well-known meditation master, author, composer and sound therapist.
Joshua David O’Brien, O.M., is the principal of Meditation Science and founder of the Meditation Community of Central Pennsylvania. Certified in Healing Meditation and Stress Reduction, he has practiced a variety of meditation techniques in his own life for 15 years. Based on the works of Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn and the UMass Medical School’s Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Program, Joshua works to promote public awareness of the growing field of research into the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of daily Mindfulness Meditation practice. Through workshops, individualized coaching, and corporate stress reduction programs, he teaches an evidenced based approach to integrative (whole person) healing through a variety of meditation techniques. Lisa Stets, a long-time student of yoga, discovered Prana-Flow yoga two years ago. The practice of this creative form of yoga led her down a road of self-discovery, which led her to the path of teaching. She received her 200-hour Prana Flow yoga certification through Shiva Rea’s affiliate school in Frederick, MD. She is starting her 500-hour certification training in May. Lisa is originally from New Orleans, and has lived in the Central PA area for seven years. During her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs as well as hiking and kayaking.

Before your session, enjoy complimentary water or tea, and a healthy snack.
Cellular Phones
All cellular phones must be turned off upon entering the wellness studio for your comfort as well as others.
Attire
Please wear what is comfortable for you. For most treatments we will ask you to remove your jewelry so we advise you to please leave all valuables at home. Please remove shoes upon entry into the wellness studio. Courtesy socks are available for your comfort.
Class Size
Our studio requires a minumum of 5-6 full session prepaid students for classes to proceed. We request drop-in's pre-register to ensure a comfortable class size.
Shaving Before Treatments
We recommend shaving a minimum of four hours prior to your massage session. We only use natural products. However, with most active ingredients, shaving may cause sensitivity to the products.
Late Arrival
Arriving late will simply limit the time for your treatment. Your treatment will end on time so the next guest will not be delayed. The full value of your treatment will be applied.
Cancellation Policy
If you must reschedule or cancel your appointment, we request that you let us know at least 4 hours in advance. Please note that policies on fees are up to individual practioners. Check with your practioner for more information.
If you must reschedule or cancel your class or workshop and have prepaid, we request that you let us know at least 4 hours in advance. A 50% charge will be applied to your credit card for failure to follow this policy. Any no-shows will be charged the full class/workshop price.
Payment and Gratuities
We accept all major credit cards, personal checks, and traveler’s checks. Gratuity is at your discretion. Typical gratituity ranges from 15-20%.

Gift certificates are a wonderful way to give the gift of health, relaxation, and wellness to the special people in your life. They are fit for any occasion and can be purchased for any dollar amount at the front desk or by phone.
